The low basement windows on my Blue Ash split-level are drafty. Is an awning window a fix?
It's a solid fix for those. An awning window fits a low, wide opening, cranks out to vent the basement, and because it's top-hinged it sheds rain so you can leave it cracked. The triple-pane glass and multi-point seal end the draft those original units let through.
What are awning windows best for?
