How long does a sidelight install take in a Western Hills home?
Most jobs run about a day. Fitting sidelights to an existing entry means framing out space beside the door for the glass, setting the panels, and sealing and finishing them. On an older Western Hills entry we allow time to build the opening square so the panels fit clean.
Can I add sidelights to my existing door?
Often yes, if there’s room in the opening — it involves some framing, which we assess at the consultation. Sidelights are also easy to include when replacing the entry door.
Will sidelights hurt my privacy or security?
