Gutters FAQs
Our multi-unit Walnut Hills building has old leaking gutters. Can you replace the whole run?
Yes. On a large 19th-century building we form seamless gutters on-site to the full roofline, which removes the leaking sectional joints, and we size oversized downspouts for the roof volume. That carries the water off the hilltop and away from the foundation instead of letting it pour down against the wall.
What are seamless gutters?
Seamless gutters are formed from a single coil of aluminum, cut to the exact length of each section of roofline on-site. Because there are no mid-run seams, there are far fewer places to leak or clog.
Do I really need gutter guards?
