Park Hills

Patio Doors for Park Hills homes

Park Hills climbs steep, tree-lined streets above Covington, and its early-1900s homes have back openings that have settled with the grade. Old sliders and back doors on these houses stick, fog, and leak air where the frame has shifted. We measure the opening you have now and fit a door made for it, scribing to the trim so it seats clean and seals against the draft.

For a hillside home a French door often suits the older architecture, though a slider fits where the deck is tight. Low-E insulated glass holds warmth on cold nights and cuts glare on the sunny side of the hill. Multi-point locks pull the door firm, and sliders glide on smooth rollers. Our own crews do the fitting and the carpentry, never subcontracted, careful around the old woodwork.

Patio Door Professionals

Built for Beauty and Performance

A patio door is a big piece of glass that gets used every day, so it has to seal, glide, and hold up. We install sliding doors with a smooth-glide track, elegant French doors that swing, and hinged options — all with energy-efficient glass and low, easy-to-cross thresholds.

Want the bigger picture? Pair it with replacement windows or a new entry door, and ask about rolling it into one 0%-for-24-months project. For efficiency ratings, the Energy Star program is a good reference.

Smooth, lasting glide

Quality rollers and tracks that don’t stick after a season.

Energy-efficient glass

Low-E insulated glass keeps the biggest opening in the room sealed.

Low thresholds

Easy to step over and built to keep water out.

Secure locking

Multi-point hardware and reinforced glass for peace of mind.

Common questions

Patio Doors FAQs

My Park Hills home has settled with the hill and the back door won't seal. Can you help?

Yes. On the older hillside homes here, openings shift as the house settles, and that's what leaves a door drafty. We measure the current frame, square up what we can, and scribe the new insulated door to fit tight so it seals and locks clean.

Sliding or French patio doors — which should I choose?

Sliding doors save space since nothing swings into the room and maximize glass; French doors make a wider, more dramatic opening. It comes down to your room layout and look — we help you decide.

Are patio doors energy efficient?

Ours are, with Low-E insulated glass, weatherstripping, and a properly sealed threshold. A new patio door usually seals far tighter than the drafty original.

Are sliding patio doors secure?

Yes — we use multi-point locking hardware and tough glass. Sliders can also be fitted with additional locks and sensors for extra peace of mind.
