The river-facing side of our Delhi Hills house fades faster than the rest. Will vinyl hold up?
It holds up far better than old aluminum or painted wood. The color in our vinyl runs all the way through the panel, so sun exposure does not strip a painted surface off it. On the wind- and sun-facing walls up here, that means the whole house keeps an even color instead of one side going chalky.
How long does vinyl siding last?
