The window over my Bridgetown kitchen sink is a pain to open. Is a slider easier?
Much easier. A slider opens sideways along a track, so you slide it with one hand without stretching across the sink or the faucet. There's nothing to lift and no crank to turn, and the sash lifts out for cleaning so you're not reaching around the tap with a rag.
