The damp in the Mill Creek valley fogs up my old windows. Will a slider stop that?
It will, because the fogging comes from failed seals in old single- or double-pane glass. Our sliders use sealed triple-pane units with argon fill, so moisture can't get between the layers to fog them. The fusion-welded vinyl frame also resists the valley humidity far better than wood or aluminum.
Are sliding windows energy efficient?
