Golf Manor is a small village of tidy brick bungalows and Tudors, most built in the 1920s and 30s. Brick-and-frame openings are unforgiving. The masonry doesn't move, but the wood buck behind it can rot or twist, and the opening is often out of square by a quarter inch or more. A crew that just jams a stock window in and foams the edge leaves gaps the brick will telegraph straight through as drafts and daylight around the trim.
We treat a Golf Manor brick opening the way it needs to be treated. Our own crews measure it, square it with shims, and flash the buck so any water that gets past the masonry drains back out. The full perimeter gets insulated and sealed, inside and out, then trimmed to sit clean against the brick. Old sash and glass leave with us, and the yard gets cleared. How long does window installation take?
